Hey ho, let’s go! Here she is... the smallest pea of the HÖNGRY gang, but with the biggest dreams.
Bedtime? Boring. Sleep? For later. Pipa wants to explore, preferably with her brothers and sister Pip, Pixie, and Pieter. Together, they form a team of four cheerful hip-peas with one mission: to see, smell, feel, and experience as much as possible.
“PFFFF! Sleeping is so boring! I’d much rather go on an adventure"
Who is Pipa Pea?
Pipa is curious, cheerful, resourceful, and a little... restless. Sitting still is not for her. She wants to go out into space, discover the unknown, see new places, and preferably all today.
Her superpower? Always up for an adventure and a master at teamwork. She thinks fast, acts even faster, and relies on her fruity friends, whether that's her pea family or the others from the fruity gang.

Her own book: Erwtjes in de ruimte
In the picture book 'Erwtjes in de ruimte', Pipa decides that sleeping is SO boring. Why go to sleep when you can fly a pea-rocket to Saturn? 🚀
What follows is a cosmic story about daring to dream, pushing boundaries, and jumping into adventure, with a generous dose of imagination and a wink to bedtime.
A cheerful, playful book about space, dreams, and everything floating in between. Ideal for young explorers from about 3 years old.

Did you know Pipa…
- Knows the entire route to Saturn by heart (or so she thinks..)?
- Often secretly fears that she'll turn into a frozen pea due to the cold during space travel?
- Is convinced that she is the first pea in the world to have met aliens?
- And her friends have even been on TV and are therefore quite famous? For the program 'de Voorleesclub' on VRT MAX, Peter Van de Veire read the story of Peas in Space. Curious about this adventurous TV debut?
