A colorful concept store with an eye for feeling, story and... a lot of fruity HÖNGRY friends. We interviewed owner Lien about her colorful shop full of attention to detail 😉

From customer to very first retailer
When owner Lien opened her shop in the heart of Destelbergen, Bieke quickly became a regular customer. Lien, in turn, became involved in Bieke and Mathieu's budding new idea. They asked Lien for her opinion, and one thing led to another: Detail became the very first HÖNGRY retailer.
"It was great to be able to grow with HÖNGRY so closely," Lien says. "And I'm very curious about what's next!"
Why Höngry?
The colorful characters immediately appeal, each with their own personality and clear emotions that are recognizable in daily life with children.
“These figures are so original and make emotions discussable in a simple way,” says Lien. “And above all: there's always humor in it, even for adults. It’s this combination that makes HÖNGRY so strong. HÖNGRY aligns perfectly with our intentions and is therefore one of the brands that spontaneously comes to mind when people ask for a gift tip.”
The bestsellers at Detail
Among the carefully selected brands at Detail, the HÖNGRY characters easily find their way to a new home. "Banana split is definitely one of my favorites. A true classic, but truly given a new twist with fun elements. It provided me with many hours of gaming fun together with my two sons. Their personal favorite is FramBOOS. Especially that page where there's a lot of strong and fruity cursing ;-) "
In addition, the board books are also favorites in the store. Logical, according to Lien: "Who wouldn't want to receive a book with the title 'Jij bent mijn tomaatje'? The larger books are also often found on the wrapping table. A beautiful book remains a cherished and lasting gift."
