Adjust your glasses, point your ears, and hold onto your backpack, because here is Tilly Carrot! The curious sleuth of the HÖNGRY gang. She loves facts, asking questions, and reading lots of books.
Who is Tilly Wortel?
Tilly is curious, smart, and always on the move. She reads, thinks, counts, searches, and asks endless questions. Because how else do you get to know the world?
Her superpowers? Taking the lead, jumping high, and being a true fact champion.
She's a go-getter and doesn't sit idly by when there's something to discover. You'll usually find her with her glasses on her nose and a book in her hand, or looking for a friend who's hiding somewhere.

Her book: WorTEL je mee?
In her own booklet Wortel je mee, Tilly loves to play hide-and-seek all over the house with her friends. She counts from one to ten and then shouts: "Ready or not, here I come!"
From the bathroom to the attic: together with you, she goes in search of all the fruity friends who are hiding.
A cheerful rhyming book that playfully teaches children to count from 1 to 10. Perfect for young children who love search games, numbers, and vegetables with character.

Wise advice in other books
Tilly doesn't just appear in her own book. She also plays an important role in the picture book De beste, when Barry Bes wonders if he is really good enough. Fortunately, Tilly knows what to do:
"Whether you do well or a bit poorer, just be your best self."
And sure enough: her wise advice sticks, and Barry feels proud of all he can do. Curious about Barry Blueberry's entire adventure?

Did you know that Tilly...
- Secretly loves to read all the books about her HÖNGRY friends herself? She can't wait for a new book to come out!
- Thinks that facts stick better if you remember them in rhyme?
- Mainly wears her glasses because it looks so smart, not because she really needs them?
Being smart isn't always about knowing the answer, but daring to ask questions and keep learning. And Tilly loves to do that all day long!
Do you also feel like searching, counting, and discovering? Then whisper softly: Will you count with me?
